Cindy has been a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church since 2022 and served as our Youth Director from January to September 2025. She considers it a blessing to walk alongside our diverse ministry groups, young adults, youth, and their families—encouraging and sharing in all that God is doing as we grow together into a vibrant, faith-filled community in Christ.

Her passion for ministry is rooted in her own joyful experiences growing up in the church and witnessing God’s love in action through Christian summer camps. She is deeply grateful for God’s guidance and for the pastors and members of St. Peter’s who have inspired her to develop her gifts. Cindy is especially excited to help create spaces where everyone feels safe, valued, and supported as they explore their faith, build meaningful relationships, and encounter Jesus’ love and forgiveness.

Beyond her work at St. Peter’s, Cindy is actively engaged in the Cochrane community. She volunteers with the Rotary Club of Cochrane and serves on the boards of the Calgary Boys’ Choir and Canadian Parents for French – Cochrane Chapter.

Cindy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Augustana Campus of the University of Alberta. She brings five years of youth ministry experience in Canada and overseas, along with more than 20 years of leadership experience in Human Resources.

In her spare time, Cindy enjoys being with her family and dog, mountain biking and skiing with family and friends, and singing soprano with The Good Vibes Memory Choir.
