St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Cochrane, AB is inviting applications for a Technical Ministry Leader to support the technical aspects of weekly worship and lead a team of volunteers.

Role Overview
The Technical Ministry Leader ensures that all technical systems for worship services operate smoothly and reliably. This includes overseeing sound, projection, livestreaming, and other media systems while supporting and training volunteers who serve in these areas.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure all technical equipment, software, and systems are prepared and functioning for weekly worship

Troubleshoot technical issues before and during services

Coordinate and support volunteer teams serving in technical roles

Provide training and organization for volunteers

Maintain familiarity with church broadcasting, sound, and presentation systems

Attend Sunday morning worship regularly to support technical needs
Qualifications

Confidence and comfort working with technology

Willingness to learn the specific programs and equipment used at St. Peter’s

Ability to organize and support volunteers

Strong problem-solving skills
