A LITTLE MORE ABOUT MILLIE:
Millie has been a valued member of St. Peter’s since 2012, drawn by the welcoming and caring community she quickly came to call home. For the past eight years, she has faithfully served as our Bookkeeper, overseeing payroll, managing finances, and ensuring bills are handled with care and accuracy. She has a natural gift for organization and takes great satisfaction in bringing clarity and order to complex tasks.
In addition to her financial role, Millie co-leads the Fellowship Committee, helping to plan and organize church social events that foster connection and community. Over the years, she has also contributed in a variety of other leadership roles within the church.
Millie brings a wealth of experience from a lifelong career in accounting and business. She began working for an accountant before serving as a bookkeeper for a trucking company for eight years. While living in Rocky Mountain House, she owned and operated her own blinds and drapery business for 20 years.
An Alberta native from Sundre, Millie moved to Calgary in her teens and has called Cochrane home for the past 14 years. In her free time, she enjoys time with family, the outdoors, as well as sewing, knitting, and reading novels. She and her husband also spent 10 years as snowbirds, wintering in Arizona.
