I grew up in small town in East Central AB, attended collage at what was then Camrose Lutheran College, and met my wonderful future wife. Graduated from U of A and began a career in the Oil & Gas industry. We were oilfield gypsies and moved many times across the province. I undertook roles in administration to IT and finally into automation and safety systems within the companies. My wife and I have 2 sons who grew up in Cochrane and they have now graduated university.
Over the years I have enjoyed being involved in community work, school, and coaching my sons and other kids in football and rugby. I have been quite involved at St. Peter’s teaching Sunday School, confirmation, Bible studies, and especially on church council, including being the past chair. I have also been involved in National Council since St. Peter’s joined the Canadian Association of Lutheran Churches, on both the Board of Elders and Board of Trustees.
