Parker and I enjoyed being with 13 cool youth last month doing our scavenger hunt and park hang out. Our last devotion about John 3:16 reminded us about how much Jesus loves us and died so that we can have everlasting life! We have more exciting things coming up in October:

CONFIRMATION UPDATE
Pastor Rick and I are overjoyed to have 21 youth in confirmation in Sunday morning classes and afternoon online classes twice a month. We have been studying the first and second commandments and memorizing these from our small Catechism (1529). It’s been valuable to learn about Martin Luther and how he defended his faith and for teaching us about having no other gods and not taking the name of the Lord God in vain. Our youth are being asked to read Scripture daily and discuss their lessons with their parents. Thanks to Daniel for assisting Sunday mornings and bringing his biblical knowledge and faith in Jesus to share with our students.
